Our Story • Our Mission

Hi, I'm Jean. I am the owner and co-creator of Lit From Above. My daughters and son are the backbone of the company. If it was not for their creative push, love and support our business would not have lifted off the ground. I am forever grateful.

We are a family of four with two sweet cats. Our company started as another stream of income. Shortly after it developed a much deeper sense of meaning, especially for me. 2020 was the year my spiritual path began. Since experiencing numerous traumatic and life changing events my journey towards enlightenment, higher vibrations and energy transformed my way of life forever. I have so much hope, love, and light to share with others going through or have gone through tougher times. There is light at the end of the tunnel, there are more happy memories to be made, other dreams to conquer, new people to give us joy and heart fulfilling moments to capture. Through trying to heal myself to become a stronger mom of three, I dove into meditation, journaling, tarot readings, and discovered the seven chakras. I consider myself a beginner and an enthusiast in the knowledge of balance and healing. I am at my best when creatively building anything from the ground up, a lover of life and curious about the universe. Our mission is to create and curate products that will bring you one step towards your journey, whether it is for healing a broken heart, gaining clarity, empowerment, rest to reset or to merely enjoy modest creations that provide joy, love, and a smile.
